The Big Idea

Drink, chat, drink, think – we see our beer as the springboard for positive interactions, from something as nurturing as a listening to a friend’s good yarn to peacefully sitting and sipping as your good book flows.

Ultimately, we think good tasting beer is a crucial catalyst for a well-rounded life (and possibly stomach). It’s there to realign synapses, to induce thinking, talking and ideas – I’ll drink to that.

The
Brewery

We are based in Guisborough, nestled between the North Yorkshire moors and the still unspoilt coast line of the north east.

The unit was taken on as a blank canvas and the brewery fitted out specifically for the best way to make the best beer.

There is a 5bbl brew plant that has one automated piece of equipment and that is the Hot Liquor Tank’s thermostat, other than that it’s hands on all the way. This allows each brew to be hand crafted (prodded and poked, soothed and sifted) to ensure it’s at its peak in time for drinking.

The inspiration for the recipes has been the ingredients; we get the best, keep it simple and the results are glorious! We are also inspired by our environment, it’s history and wanting to be part of its future.
